There's a lot being said about The Supreme Court's decision to reverse Roe vs. Wade after 49 years.
Like:
The United States has become a bizarre medieval outlier among so-called "developed" countries, almost all of which enshrine a woman's right to an abortion as an inalienable right, and a major step toward equality with men.
Also, Clarence Thomas is a motor moron who managed to never say a word for 25 years while Antonin Scalia was alive, and would do well to shut up now before someone puts a boot in his mouth.
Also, the Supreme Court is fundamentally undemocratic, has been for most of its history, and ought to go away.
Eh. Thee Optimist has believed this for years. He thinks the US Senate and the Electoral College ought to go away, too. They're also undemocratic, even anti-democratic.
Yeah. We don't live in anything like an actual democracy. We might as well stop pretending that we do.
I don't want to talk about that stuff, though.
I don't want to talk about anything.
